Opened in January 2022, Hotel Okura Kyoto Okazaki Bettei is a small luxury hotel with 60 guestrooms, harmoniously integrated into the natural landscape of Kyoto.

For this project, GO ON produced the overall spatial design under the theme of “new craftsmanship.”
Throughout the lobby, guest rooms, and restaurant, elements are carefully incorporated to convey the philosophy of craft and the presence of artisanal skill.

Rather than positioning craft as something to be merely observed, the project seeks to weave its beauty into the experience of staying itself.
It is an exploration of how craftsmanship and hospitality can be reconnected, allowing guests to encounter craft as part of everyday life.
